Dr. Gravity flies over Las Peñitas

This afternoon, we took Elder's mother, niece and nephew to Las Peñitas beach for some more kite-flying. When we first brought them their kites from Dr. Gravity's Kite Shop a few weeks ago, we couldn't give Tito his because he had behaved badly recently. But today we were informed that he had been behaving himself lately, so we were happy to be able to give him the kite we had picked out especially for him. Knowing that he loves cats, we chose a kite with a big black and white cat on it with a long tail.

Even Elder's mother got into the action and went running after Tito's cat kite. The beach wind was a bit crazy and kept swirling the kites around and into nose-dives, so after awhile the kids moved on to play in the sand.

Rosa and I hung out at the Suyapa Beach restaurant while Elder took the kids for a walk around the beach. Then we all settled into tables on the beach to enjoy a delicious fish dinner while watching the sun set, before returning to Leon.
