William got mail!

The other day, Elder stopped by the post office (we don't go very often since we hardly ever get any mail.... hint, hint) and behold! Treasures awaited us there. Two packages from awesome friends, including William's very first mail addressed directly to him.

As you can see, William was very excited! The package addressed specifically to him was from Sara & Xavi in Barcelona. They sent a CD of lullaby versions of Queen songs, perfect for you-know-who, plus a rocker onesie. Here's William enjoying those gifts:



And the other package, though addressed to me, was of course really for little WF as well, and was from our dear friends Caroline and Sandro. They sent some books, including a Dr. Seuss book in Spanish, bilingual Big Dog, Little Dog, and Ferdinand the Bull in Spanish. Plus a little rainbow-striped sweatshirt, perfect for a little DRFFA baby (that's Dartmouth Rainbow Flip Flop Alliance, for those of you not in the know). Caroline, being her ever creative self, wrapped the gifts up super cutely, with cut-out red and striped hearts scattered through the package.

Though those are the most recent gifts, which were exciting to receive by mail (and especially exciting to know that packages do arrive to our post office despite reports we have heard), I can't leave out mention of all the other wonderful people who have showered us with gifts. Elena and Amy W both sent some awesome gifts with my sister, who also brought presents, including a little stuffed animal from Eleanor. Plus William's many visitors here in Leon have brought him many different goodies.

Thank you to all for your thoughtfulness and generosity. We love you and are blessed to have such wonderful friends in our life - all of William's aunties and uncles.
