Yup, we're a little obsessed with this precious tiny creature. As we drove up into the mountains to Somoto, we saw some beautiful, majestic rainbows spanning the sky.
As we marveled at their beauty, Elder exclaimed, "It's for Maya!" She had just been born the previous night and we were thinking of her and her mama a lot that day. The rainbows coming out and guiding our way seemed like the perfect welcome from Nicaragua for little Maya.
If you look closely, you can see it's a double rainbow, with a fainter version above the main one... for mama and baby!
