Leo Lovin'

Lovely little Leo has continued to keep my mom company everyday. When she was in the wheelchair, he hopped up into her lap to purr away as she touched him. Then when she was in bed, he would curl up beside her and keep her company during the day.

He even tried to play the guitar for her one day, but it didn't work out too well.

And now that she's in the hospital bed, he comes to keep her company there everyday. He usually curls up in the crook of her arm where he's made a special spot for himself. She often moves her hand shakily over his body and will hold on to his head or his leg. And he seems to enjoy it, purring away loudly and moving his head into her hand.

And then this - the cutest image. I came upstairs to check on my mom before heading to bed at night, and here was Leo curled up sleeping right next to her, on top of the pillows propping up her back. They both looked so peaceful sleeping together. It was a precious sight.
